Case study
1st Choice Removals: back in control of their own website
A family-run removals and storage firm in Wimborne, Dorset, serving Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch since 1990.
The problem
The old website sat on an agency-run platform. The business didn't control the accounts, and changes meant waiting on someone else. Pages had built up errors over the years: copy-and-paste mistakes, a town page describing the wrong country, mismatched phone numbers and broken buttons.
What we did
- Rebuilt 66 pages on fast hosting in the firm's own name
- Redirected every old page address so existing Google rankings carried over
- Fixed the errors and made sure every page has one correct phone number
- Added clear quote, home-visit and call buttons, with tracking on each
- Added the trade association's live verification badge and accreditation logos
- Set up Search Console, Analytics, Bing and IndexNow
- Added structured data and an llms.txt file so AI assistants can read the business correctly
- Set up weekly SEO checks and monthly improvements that run automatically, with safeguards

Results take time. Google usually needs three months or more to settle after a rebuild. We'll add real before-and-after rankings and enquiry numbers here once there's enough data to be fair.
